HOW IT WORKS: These pebbles emit light in darkness by absorbing and storing natural or artificial light, particularly visible light with a wavelength under 450 NM. In darkness, the pebbles emit a bright glow for the first 2-3 hours, which gradually fades as the stored light is depleted. The afterglow can last 8-10 hours, with visibility increasing in darker surroundings. When exposed to visible light, the pebbles begin to absorb and emit light once again. These self-luminous pebbles can theoretically function for up to 15 years.
